Dear Members & Friends,

As we move deeper into the fall season, we would like to thank each and every one of you for helping us get closer to our goal of creating a welcoming and fun club for our members, fee-paying players, paddlers and anyone else that just wants to stop by and enjoy the beautiful views and landscapes at Cedars. We also would like to thank all of the parents and kids who made our summer golf camp such a success.  And of course a special thanks to our famous Cedarettes and our weekly men's leagues who we are so happy to host each year.

Many improvements are in progress at Cedars Golf Club and there are still lots of plans going forward to improve both the course and the clubhouse. The views from the south side holes (1, 7, 8, and 9) are going to change dramatically. The left side of the ninth fairway is going to be opened to the kayak launch dock, providing beautiful water views of West Creek. We will be working hard throughout the winter to create a Cedars Cafe and Sweet Shop offering coffee, snacks and specialty items from the world's greatest ice cream shop – The Magic Fountain! We also plan to make the upper level deck and room a "Tavern on the Green" where a cold beer or a glass of wine can be enjoyed in a golf type atmosphere, with all the views of the water and the course.

Our historic "Drop Box" will be available after the course officially closes in November for those of you who take advantage of the good days in winter.  For those that would like to keep your game in tune in a warmer environment, the simulator room in the newly heated and air conditioned clubhouse will be available by appointment throughout the winter.  The simulator room and clubhouse also are available for private events.

Unfortunately for us, Scott Anderson relocated to New Mexico to pursue a career outside of golf.  We are actively interviewing for a new club pro and will have one in place before we officially open in the spring. 

All information regarding leagues, memberships, youth camps and lessons will be provided to you throughout the winter season via e-mail, and feel free to send us a note at any time with your suggestions or to reserve a league or camp spot for next year.

In closing on behalf of the entire staff at Cedars we would like to wish you all a happy healthy fall and winter and thank you for a wonderful season at Cedars.
